This type of power adapter is characterized by the isolation of the output voltage from the input voltage and the high resistance between I/O, and the isolation of the circuit is achieved through the primary/secondary of the pulse transformer. The circuit of this kind of power adapter varies greatly, which can be divided into the following categories:
Single-ended self-excited type. The power adapter is a self-excited oscillation tube, which can complete on/off control in the process of intermittent oscillation. The power adapter and the secondary rectifying circuit actually constitute the DC/DC converter, which is controlled by the output voltage of the DC/DC converter.
