| Power adapter is the main power supply equipment of notebook computer. Power adapters rarely fail, but because of their complex internal structure and the large number of patch components used in today's power adapters, it can be difficult to repair. 1. Periodic charge discharge For the battery of notebook computer, general 1 month for its standard charge and discharge (that is, full after put clean and full again), or regularly with BIOS built-in battery calibration function to maintain, so to extend the life of the battery is very beneficial. Removal of power adapter housing A power adapter generally consists of a housing, a power transformer, and a rectifying circuit. A laptop's power adapter case is usually covered with a small plastic cap that can be removed by pulling the cap out with a needle. But the case of the laptop's power adapter is so tightly integrated that dismantling it can take some work. 6. Internal composition After disassembling the shell, it can be seen that, just like ordinary switch and voltage regulator circuit, the power adapter contains capacitor, resistor, inductor, switching diode, power core chip and other components (see figure 8-11). At present, the power of laptop power adapter is about 60-70w, and the heat generated inside is mainly emitted through the conduction of plastic shell, plus some high heat components inside, so the temperature inside and outside the power adapter is very high. |
